04. In The Kingdom of Fools
SUMMARY
This is a story about a Kingdom ruled by a foolish King and his foolish minister. They pass a strange order that is followed by the people. It is, then, the wise guru who reverses the order and brings nonmalcy back into the Kingdom. The story highlights the dangers ed by the foolish people. It also emphasises the view that foolish people like the king and his minister an be very difficult to manage. fools live in their own paradise and not be easily impressed by They can only be handled by we people like the Guru.

The second strange thing observed by them was that everything in the kingdom had the same cost i.c. one duddu. Whether it was gold or a bunch of bananas, everything had the same value or cost.

Ans – The guru tries to confuse the king by telling him that whoever is executed first will become the king in the next birth. The king believes him and later on offers himself to be executed first so that he may remain king in the next birth. In this way, the guru was successful in saving his disciple's life.
